On March 28, 2021, the Honourable Harjit S. Sajjan, Minister of National Defence announced that the Government of Canada would be planning an apology event for the members and the descendants of the N^o.2 Construction Battalion, and asked that community members and all descendants of the battalion share their open and honest input on how we can plan a meaningful and respectful apology, one that honours these brave members and pays tribute to their efforts and their sacrifices.

We ask that you share your perspectives so that they may be reflected as we plan this apology and commemorate the service of the N^o.2 Construction Battalion.
